Blue Hair Don't Care!

As most of my friends know, I have changed my hair color numerous times and still counting! From black till blonde, and now till crazy colors! I've tried all the colors that is on the colour wheel! From time to time, I'm starting to get bored of crazy color hairs because there is not a single color I haven't tried. My dad is always complaining about me dying my hair very often and at one point, he gave up complaining about it that much. Lol

So recently, I approached The Met Salon KL which is located at Park Royal Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The reason why I approach them is because my boss and SweetEe did their hair there and I freaking love their hair color very much!

So I made an appointment with them and upon consultation, I just tell them that they can go as crazy as they want and I DO NOT MIND HAVING CRAZY COLOR HAIR! Why have boring hair when you can have colorful hair. Right? So we've decided to bleach my hair and dye it BLUE and GREEN in a zig zag pattern.
Hair bleaching Version 1.0 and 2.0. I think we can go for another round of bleaching tho!

The coloring process. The part covered with foil is green! The rest will be colored blue!

The color outcome was good but not really what I had in vision. Because I wanted super attention seeking hair color! Hahaha But anyway, I really like the color more and more each day because the color is starting to fade off quite a lot!

And recently, I have an obsession for DIY manicure too! Lol

Who doesn't like CHEAP and CHIO nails? Right? Hahah

Birthday Galore!

Well well well, I don't really like January that much because there's THREE January babies in my family! My dad, mumsie and brother shares the same month...Which means the amount of money spent on birthday celebration dinner would be triple the price. But luckily, for being the youngest in the family and still studying, I was excluded from sharing the bill because I am not financially stable! Haha! :P

So this year, we've decided to celebrate the trio's birthday at Grand Hyatt Thirty8 Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur! It was my second time there and boy the food they serve there is beyond mouth watering!

On the left, Clam Chowder. I think I would rate it a 6 out of 10? It's a bit too salty for my liking.
Right, Grilled Tasmanian Salmon Trout. 8 out of 10 because it was cooked till perfection!
I ordered Pappardelle with Wagyu Beef Ragout. My rating for this is 10/10 because the beef literally melts in your mouth! So gooooooood!
Right: Roasted Free Range Chicken with forest mushroom and foie gras stuffing. 7/10 because the meat is a bit dry.
On the left is the Signature Thirty8 Cake and they serve it with caramelized banana ice cream! 9/10
I had a deconstructed cheesecake. It was nice but I prefer more cheesecake chunks! Rating would be 8/10
The birthday trio with the precious little princess!
My niece and my parents! She always bring smile to our faces! <3

Overall the dining experience there never failed me once. Good food, excellent service and breath taking view. What more could I ask for?

Kick Start for 2015!

I can't believe that I haven't been blogging for ages and now my blog looks so dead I can't even! Oh well, I couldn't really multitask between college and personal life. Yes I still do attend events but oh well, I'm so malas to update my blog because I always thought that I should spend the time on blogging to sleep. Hahaha but no, I should continue because my mum is always asking me, "Adrian, why aren't you blogging anymore?" Well apparently, my mum stalk me on most of the social media platforms but I don't really care as long as I know that someone is still reading my blog right? Lol

SweetEe's car and her stickers obsession! Apparently her obsession now is washi tapes! Lol

So year 2014 has been a poop to me and I don't really like 2014. Maybe 2015 is better? I hope so! Well to kick start what I've been doing on the first month of 2015, I started working as an Intern for Joyce at KinkyBlueFairy. So far so good because #mycolleagueasarebetterthanyours! I've alwasy been wanting to work for people from media and I finally did! So yeah, 2015 is being awesome as starter so far.
From Left to Right - Me, SweetEe, Baby and WengYee!
SweetEe is our Senior Pegasus Officer, Baby is our Ketua KinkyBlueFairy aka Manager and Weng Yee is also an intern but sadly, she's leaving us soon because she needs to go back to UK to her husband! Boohoo! :(

I am always happy when I'm working because all the positive energy that they spread to me is so overwhelming! They are so fun to work with and we can be super duper random when we're talking! From office related topic until stickers obsession!

And yes, this is my Tao Ke Soh aka Boss JoyceTheFairy who can also cook super good food! The #colorfulhair duo in action!
I think I really learn a lot from working with KinkyBlueFairy from learing how to Photoshop pictures to meeting a lot of people! I feel so blessed to be part of the team!

Gotta run now because I have to continue cleaning the house! Chinese New Year is coming and I can't wait to get fat!

15.01.2014

Oh hi people on the internet ! It's been awhile since the last post that I did about the ajitsuke tamago tutorial. I've been quite busy since then rushing assignments and deadlines and also exams. Life is hard to be a design student especially interior design student. We have to not only build models, but also to write reports, and sit for examination as well. Fuck my life literally wtf. So now I am having a sweet 3 months semester break after months of living in hell.
And so, I've decided to work and I got a job from TopShop ! Well actually I  fill up the job vacancy form at TopShop only because there's no other clothing lines that I fancy much to work in lolwth. Many people do ask me why did I choose to work in a clothing store instead of coffee shops and other stuff. Well the reason is simple. I choose to work in a clothing store because I've been dying to study in fashion but I couldn't and that is why I choose to work in a clothing department to fulfill my desperate. hahaah...Since the first day of my work, I knew that I will be loving my job and yes I did LOVE my job very very much. Despite being surrounded by pretty clothes, I am also surrounded by lovely lovely peoples. Fabulous and funny colleague I would say :)

Oh ! And not to forget, I can wear nice nice to work as well leh...But still, this company have their own restriction which is to wear their brand's clothing but it's alright because their clothes are like damn nice la...Who would reject wearing TopShop and Topman's clothes? I know I wouldn't. hahahah Since I wore proper and nice clothes to work everyday, I try to snap more OOTD photos so that I can make my blog alive again. I have this colleague which we both help each other to capture each other's OOTD photos. We sounded very hiao but come on la...Life is too short to not be hiao..hahahaha She's also a blogger, a TVC talent and our very own Personal Shopper in Sunway Pyramid. She's gorgeous gorgeous Ming. hahahahaahaaaahha Ok. I lazy to write more stuff dy. Ending my post with pictures hmmm kay?

The Cock and The Egg.

Hello peeps !

Alright, as seen on the topic, today the cock (which is me) gonna teach ya'll how to make your own Ajitsuke Tamago aka Onsen Egg or Ramen Egg. Well I have been seeing a lot of people making their own version of ajitsuke tamago and I have the urge to try it myself because it is dead easy to do and to eat as well. Simple ingredients and all you need s like 15 minutes to prepare and finish everything.

Ingredients :
-6 medium size eggs.
-1 cup of water
-1 cup of light soy sauce
-1/2 cup of Hua Tiao Wine which I substitute the Mirin with.
-1 tablespoon of sugar
-Chopped garlic
-A little bit of dark soy sauce for that extra gorgeous color

First, you gotta prepare 6 eggs in room temperature. YES, room temperature so that the time for the eggs to be cooked is perfectly done.

- Second, bring your water to a boil and add some salt into the water. Adding salt into the water helps to peel off the egg shells easily later. When the water starts boiling, put in your egg and let it cook for 5 minutes and 45 seconds. You can go longer or shorter for the timing if you're adventurous enough.

- Third step, once you have reached your desired timing for your eggs to be cooked, quickly transfer them into a bowl of ice cold water. Yes, add ice into the water and let your eggs to cool down.

- When your eggs are in the cold bath, prepare the marinating sauce by adding everything into a saucepan and simmer it. This will help to bring out the flavor and aroma of the sauce (of what I've heard).

 - Peel your eggs and soak them into the sauce. After that, grab a kitchen towel and put it above your egg to make the marinating process to be even. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours and transfer them to a container. Do not leave it for too long or else the egg will harden.

- Last step is to eat your egg with not only ramen, but also maggi mee or even normal rice.

Oh my I cant believe I took the effort to write a proper English blog post and I also did photo shooting session with them eggs and also editing them before posting. Sometimes I do feel good to blog because it is quite fun. Good luck at trying !

Till then,
Adrian.C, xo

Self Portrait. (Contextual Studies)

Hello readers, I know that I have abandoned my blog for centuries but now I AM BACK IN BUSINESS ! Well second semester had started about 4 weeks ago and I am supposed to blog about my assignments and stuff and YES I delayed to blog because I have no MOOD. Sorry Mr.Charles ! But I must start blogging whether I have or don't have the mood to blog because this is part of the assessment. Okay. So the first assignment that we are given is about 'Self Portrait'. Well I've done a lil bit of research here and there from the internet and what I have understand from the word 'Self Portrait' is a way to express and portray yourself in front of others. The artist that i researched about is Jackson Pollock. Well, Pollock's artwork mesmerized me a lot because the dripping method painting is so unique and personalize. Pollock has his style of painting as he said this before : "My drawings doesn't come from the easel. I prefer to tack the unstretched canvas to the hard wall or the floor." which created such master piece by just using forces of gravity. I cant tell that doing such thing that Pollock did aint easy. And another thing that I like about Pollock's artwork is that a piece of dripping master piece can be sold for like thousands or millions? Damn envy oh ! If you dont know who is Jackson Pollock, fear not because I am here to the rescue ! Lolwtf. Here's a lil research about Pollock.

Jackson Pollock himself.
And here are a few artwork by himself.

And I've even found a few picture that inspired someone to create self portrait Pollock's way.

And also, I found out this cool website where you can create your very own dripping art. Do visit JacksonPollock.org for fun stuff ! Here is my master piece. Well, sort of a master piece. Lolol.

Okay. I know both of it is quite similar but it's really fun to do this ! haaahah ! Give it a try people !

And now back to my self portrait. Well as you all know that I have mad love for Lady Gaga. And yes, I use Lady Gaga as my guidance for my self portrait assignment. Since Lady Gaga started off her music industry, I have noticed that every music video of her have a message and she portray herself differently in every video. I have a few pictures for you guys to see as an example.

These are pictures from the video "Born This Way" and "Marry the Night".

Well pictures from "Born This Way", Lady Gaga try to portray the Manifesto of Mother Monster which can be seen clearly.

And in the video "Marry The Night", she tried to portray herself as a professional dancer and a ballerina. Therefore, I have decided to portray myself as the picture shown below.

Well here's my self portrait.Okay. I know that if Nicholas see this, he'll definitely think of "Illuminati". And if you are curious about what is Illuminati, google it out. It's quite interesting. Back to topic. I portray myself this way is because YES, I love Lady Gaga and the triangles are inspired by her from the Born This Way video. I uses triangle because to me,triangle symbolize dominance and power. In the design industry, you gotta be at the top of the pyramid to get rich and dirty. LOL Just kidding. You gotta be at the top so that others will know about you and you will become famous. Who doesn't wanna be famous and rich? As for the arrow on my forehead, it symbolize that we should never get too carried away by the fame and money because you need to pay off hell lots of consequences. Therefore, we gotta be down to earth and be humble in every way. And the red eyes are just effects that I personally like. Hahahaahaha  wtf. Well that's all I can describe myself here. Oh yea, one more thing to add on. I portray myself in black and white because everyone has their own dark and bright side. I wanna tell those people who bit*ch about me will face my darkest side. So, BEWARE. Hahahaahahaha. That's all for this post. It's so freakin longggg !
